Father's Day Eve couldn't have gone any better if they'd scripted it.

Anthony Thaxton and his son Bryant brought home to Mississippi two Southeast Regional Emmy Awards for their work on a documentary on artist Walter Anderson. Anthony co-produced 2021's "Walter Anderson: The Extraordinary Life and Art of the Islander" with Robert St.John, and directed and edited the film, which won for best historical documentary.
